CURTAIN'D SLEEP
LIGHTING DESIGNER
GREENWICH THEATRE, NOVEMBER 2019
ENTITA THEATRE
Curtain’d Sleep dives into the wings of two of Shakespeare’s greatest plays, Hamlet and Macbeth, to pose the question “why do Ophelia and Lady Macbeth take their final breaths off-stage?”
Through a fusion of stunning movement and Shakespeare’s words, underscored by the atmospheric folk music of Seth Lakeman, Curtain’d Sleep is an intensively captivating piece of theatre that stages the previously unseen.
Originally a site-specific production, Entita have reimagined Curtain’d Sleep for Greenwich Theatre, returning with their unique brand of physical theatre following Method in Madness in 2016. This production offers audience seating on-stage for a unique immersive experience.
